Derek Czarkowski serves as Vice President, Investor Relations at Buchanan Street Partners, where he is responsible for supporting capital raising, reporting and relationship management across the firm’s real estate investment platforms. Mr. Czarkowski brings more than 19 years of experience spanning acquisitions, fundraising, and asset management.

Before joining Buchanan Street, Mr. Czarkowski held senior investment roles at RFC Capital and Elan Multifamily Investments, directing acquisition, disposition and capital formation strategies throughout the Western United States. Earlier in his career, he served with GoldOller Real Estate Investments and Equus Capital Partners, executing value-add acquisitions and asset management across national institutional multifamily portfolios. Derek holds a B.A. in Economics from Virginia Tech.
