Buchanan Street Partners Closes Four More Transactions Exceeding $53 Million for Barfield Bay Holdings
- Deal marks the twenty-sixth between Buchanan Street and Barfield Bay
- Florida apartment market performing well as fundamentals improve
Newport Beach, CA and Tampa Bay, FL (September 5, 2006) - Buchanan Street Partners, a national
real estate investment bank, announced today that it has closed four more transactions for Barfield Bay
Holdings exceeding $53 million. This marks a total of twenty six financing transactions that Buchanan
Street Partners has arranged for Barfield Bay. Through a long-term relationship, Buchanan Street
Partners helped Barfield Bay capitalize opportunities and strategically utilize creative financing
as Barfield has grown its portfolio to approximately 3,000 apartment units in the Tampa Bay region
and in southwest Florida.
The recent transactions include a $25.4 million bridge loan for Carlyle Apartments in Tampa, a $14.3
million permanent loan for Martin's Landing Apartments in Lakeland, a $13.2 million bridge loan for
Central Park Apartments Tampa, and a smaller permanent loan for a St. Petersburg complex.
