BUCHANAN STREET PARTNERS ANNOUNCES 5 KEY HIRES
Buchanan Street Partners is pleased to announce that
Jim Davies and
Eric Snyder have joined their Newport
Beach office as Senior Vice President and Vice President, respectively. The Davies and Snyder advisory
team are recognized leaders in self-storage and mobile home community financing and will focus on various
types of commercial real estate financing including permanent debt, equity, bridge and construction financing.
They will also help invest the Company's own proprietary capital through THE BUCHANAN FUNDS in select value-added
and development opportunities. Jim Davies has closed over $1 billion in commercial and multi-family real estate
transactions during his 18-year mortgage-banking career. He is a graduate of UCLA with a degree in Economics.
Mr. Snyder has been involved in the closing of over $1 billion in transactions during the past 5 years.
Prior to joining Buchanan Street Partners, he was a Director with GE Capital responsible for the origination and
analysis of loan requests nationwide. Previous to that, Mr. Snyder was an Investment Officer at FINOVA Realty
Capital (formerly Belgravia Capital) and also worked for ITT Commercial Finance and Bank of America. Mr. Snyder
earned a Bachelor's degree in Urban & Regional Planning from California Polytechnic University.

Jim Ebert as a Senior Vice President responsible for its institutional
investor programs. He has an extensive background as equity investor, pension fund advisor and lender, and
serves on the investment committee of THE BUCHANAN FUNDS, a series of private real estate investment funds for
high net worth and institutional investors. Mr. Ebert was previously a Senior Vice President with Acacia Capital
Corporation and was the founder and Chief Investment Officer of Acacia Bank, its mezzanine lending subsidiary,
where he served as an investment advisor to university endowments such as Yale, Harvard and Princeton. His
background also includes directing over $1 billion in equity investments for GE Real Estate Equities in the western
United States. Mr. Ebert holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Michigan School of Business.
Bentley T. Kerr has also joined Buchanan Street Partners in the position of Vice President, Investor Services at
its Newport Beach headquarters. Mr. Kerr is involved in all aspects of marketing and investor relations for
THE BUCHANAN FUNDS, private real estate offerings geared toward high net-worth and corporate clients. His
institutional background includes corporate banking with Wells Fargo Bank, pension fund advisory and asset
management with Lowe Enterprises, and commercial development with Koll Company and Polygon Development. Mr. Kerr
holds MBA and Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) degrees from the University of Southern California and a BA
from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Buchanan Street Partners welcomes
Michael Guterman to the position of Vice President in their Los Angeles office.
He will deepen the firm's marketing efforts in the Los Angeles area, generating real estate advisory assignments
and equity placements for all property types. Prior to Mikes joining Buchanan Street Partners, he was a top producing
originator at FINOVA Realty Capital with annual production volumes exceeding $100MM, and before that a Vice President
of Business Development with Kennedy Wilson International.
